Extracurricular Activities

Minecraft Club - Thursdays with Miss Morris and Mrs Marchant
Children use iPads to explore and build creative 3D Minecraft models of everything from Viking structures to Antarctic creatures. Children can build together within our own secure server or individually in their own worlds.


Gardening Club - Mondays with Mrs Walsh and Mrs Marchant
At gardening club the children have the oppurtunity to enage with the horticultural arts. They take care of the garden by weeding, planting and harvesting. They learn about the planting calendar and gain a thorough understanding of the plant life cycle.


Guitar Club - Tuesdays with Mr Evans
Guitar Club provides an opportunity for children to learn to play the guitar in a calm, friendly environment. Children of all level are welcome, whether they are a beginner or a more advanced player. The aim of the club is for children to enjoy playing an instrument, whilst learning a new skill and building resilience.


Recorder Club - Thursdays with Mrs Montgomery and Mrs Powell
In recorder club we learn more about how to read music and work in ensemble settings. We play a variety of tunes and perform them to the school. From there they can progress to take Clarinet lessons.


Homework Club - Tuesday Lunchtime with Mrs White
In homework club you can catch up and get some help with your homework!


Theatre Club - Tuesdays with Mr Sherrard
For the many thespians of the school, theatre club is a place where pupils can be themselves, or sombody completely different! They can let go of their inhibitions and show the world what they're made of. At the moment we are working hard on our upcoming year 5 pantomime, Aladdin! Watch this space.


Craft Club - Tuesdays with Mrs Lowe
This club is to help children manage their emotions, using stories and crafts. Pupils attend for 6 weeks and the course is part of the Jigsaw Families scheme.




Lego Club - Thursdays with Mrs Marchant & Miss Morris
This exciting club follows a scheme of work where we learn about and build a variety of things. We pick a winning build of the week which gets entered into a UK wide competition. We have even won several times.
